Nelly Concert Tour
Nelly Furtado began touring after the success of “Whoa, Nelly” in 2001, starting with the “Burn in the Spotlight” tour. In 2004, Nelly set out again, this time to promote her album “Folklore”.
On February 16, 2007, Furtado started her “Get Loose Tour”. In March she detoured to her home town of Victoria where she did a concert and was rewarded with the town council marking March 21 as Nelly Furtado Day. On April 1, 2007, Furtado was cast as host and performer of the 2007 Juno Awards. She won all five awards for which she was nominated, including Album of the Year and Single of the Year. Furtado also appeared on stage at the Concert for the late Princess Diana at Wembley Stadium in London on July 1, 2007.
